CUCM User Options Interface
CUCM has functionality that allows end-user accounts to be configured and associated with
one or more IP phones, and enables end users to configure personal features for their IP
phones. The configurable features include the following:
■ Call Forwarding.
■ Speed Dial Numbers.
■ End users can configure speed dial buttons on each IP phone. Speed dial buttons
configured via the phone button template on the IP phone are limited by the number
of buttons on the IP phone. The User Options web interface also allows the end user
to configure up to 99 abbreviated dialing soft keys.
■ Subscribe to IP Phone Services.
■ Most Cisco IP Phone models can be used to access Extensible Markup Language
(XML)-based web applications end users can freely subscribe to.
■ Configure Personal Address Book and Fast Dials.
■ Change Message Waiting Lamp Policy.
■ Change User Locale (Phone Language), Password, and PIN.
Users with permission to access the web interface may do so via the following URL:
https://<ip-address>/ccmuser. Users must use the username and password that has been
provided by the CUCM administrator. Figure 4-2 shows the CCMUser login page.
